Cutie Pie

Pie Pie was enjoying her time at our neighbor's daughter's 2nd birthday party! So cute!!! BooBoo wouldn't stand still long enough for me to take a picture.

Visit with Pookie

My brother was flying in to pick up Pookie, so her mommy dropped her off with me. Before we went to the airport the kids had a blash dressing up and running around like crazy kids. It had been so long since they had seen her, the time went by far too quick.

After Tinkerbell, Giselle and Captain Hook were done dancing at the ball, we went to the mall for lunch and playtime at the play area.

Girls Night

Us mommies need a break sometimes. One of the girls invited a couple of us over for tacos and a glass of wine. We laughed, cried and watched Phelps win his 8th gold medal. It was so nice to be able to hold a conversation without being interruped every 3 seconds.

Thank you girls for a great night!!! :)

First Day of Junior High

I can't believe Lil Pickle is in Junior High! It seems like the other day he was a little buckaroo starting kindergarten. We have been so blessed to have him grow up to be such a wonderful and thoughtful young man.

He and his best friend walked to the bus together, but of course don't have any classes together....not even lunch! Lil Pickle likes junior high, he said the day goes by so fast since they change classes five times a day. He tried out for flag football but unfortunately didn't make it. There were 68 children competing for 15 spots. You would think they would add a 7th grade team since there are so many children interested in playing. Shouldn't they be trying to keep them engaged? What do us parents know????

Girly Girls Party

As many of you know, BooBoo Bear loves to play with girls makeup. Growing up on a cul-de-sac of nothing but girls...what else can you expect? Z was turning 4 and was having her party at this amazing place called Girly Girls. Z's mommy asked me if I wanted her to take BooBoo to the movies or something instead.....well.....because of BooBoo's history, I told her no....he'll love it!

As you can see from the pictures, he was less than happy with me. I am guessing it was too over the top even for him! Pie Pie loved it and is always asking to get her hair done now!
